Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accurate property assessments to facilitate the local funding for our county, schools, cities, and other districts that derive budgets and other operating expenses from local property values.

 
The Fisher County Appraisal District appraises property for ad valorem taxation of these taxing authorities.
 
Fisher County
Roby City
Rotan City
Roby CISD
Rotan ISD
Hospital District
Clearfork GCD
 
The duties of the appraisal district include: 
  • The determination of market value of taxable property
  • The administration of exemptions and special valuations authorized by the local entities and the State of Texas
Tax rates and ultimately the amount of taxes levied on property are determined by governing bodies of each of the taxing authorities. 
Mineral, utility and industrial accounts are appraised for the district by Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. in Amarillo, Texas.
Real estate and personal property accounts are appraised locally by the district.

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Closed for lunch daily 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
